I have a serious issue. I have an 01 honda rubicon 500 "hondamatic". I currently have a blank screen ( no flash or anything), no electric start/headlights, and it's in limp mode (won't shift out of first, bounces out of second). I've checked battery, fuses, and such. I took it home 30 mph the whole way and finally today I replaced both transmission solenoids, the filter, gasket, and the fluid. Patch up the radiator the correct way and put coolant. Well this morning as I do every morning, I started it, let it warm up for about 30 seconds or so, when i shift to reverse, guess what....wont go reverse. I converted my truck to 4wd and cannot get it out of limp mode, or to reverse. I swapped my output shaft and housing to 4wd. And installed the wiring harness and manual shift tcase. When I put my truck in revers the output shaft will spin clock ways for about 10 seconds, then shift range. the only gear available in limp home mode is 3rd, which makes taking off from standing starts and inclines at low speed exceptionally annoying. also, a small delay between shifting from gear to neutral or reverse is normal.
